The Wild East

Long approaches, few trekkers, and spectacular isolation.

Trekking in the far east of Nepal requires time, patience, and a sense of adventure. The logistics are more complex than Annapurna or Everest, often requiring multiple flights and long jeep rides.

The reward is having the trails largely to yourself. You will walk through ancient forests, past traditional villages that see few foreigners, all beneath the towering massif of the world's third highest mountain.
